In Super Mario 64, when u go to the courtyard in the back, in the center there is a fountain with the statue of a star with blurry writing that some people claim that it says: “L is real 2041″ making some people think that Luigi is in the game and unlockable. However, others claim that it says “Eternal Star” which makes more sense but some sceptics disagree. But something else that’s strange is that the same message appears on a square stone in the Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of time in dodongo’s cavern. Seeing as how both games have the same creator, it may be a hint or maybe just an easter egg like the portraits of mario characters in the window in Zelda’s courtyard or the Mario mask on the back of the mask salesman in the Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask.

I just want kind of an open discussion on this, just give your thoughts or maybe something proving either side, please note that this is the original Mario 64, NOT the DS version, where luigi is unlockable.

It’s confusing though I’m not sure what the differences between New super mario and Super 64 is. I’m goin to get super princess peach because shes cute and yoshi’s island because the babies are cute.. lol but I need help deciding between New Super Mario and Super Mario 64.
