i found this problem too. keep the rom but uninstall and reinstall project 64 again =]
If this doesnt help mail me and ill help resolve it
The thumbstick so its impossible to finish it with keyboard buy ds instead.
You probably have a corrupt copy of Mario 64 that has pieces missing. Try downloading another one and see if it works.
