I just bought a nintendo wii to play metroid prime, super mario galaxy, super smash bros brawl, zelda, and a bunch of virtual console games.

I have ps2 and i like alot of the games for it. I really like god of war, killzone, black, the sports games, metal gear solid games, and the resident evil games.

I’m not a big fan of halo or anything. That seems to be the big game for xbox360. I know alot of games have come out for the 360 that have been just awesome and it seems like ps3 isnt really getting the good games like xbox360.

The games im looking forward to are assasin’s creed, metal gear solid 4, god of war 3, and resident evil 5 to name a few.

I’ve never owned an xbox (the original) but ive always loved my playstation 1 and 2. Seeing that i dont really like halo, should i get a ps3? Or does this system seemed doomed? Just seems like lately the system isnt doing well? Are all the games i listed above still coming out for ps3?
The only game i really would like to play that is only for xbox360 is lost planet. I can do without gears of war. My girlfriend’s brother has it and it really seem all that attractive to me. Especially since i heard that the campaign mode only takes about 6 to 8 hours. I love long epic games. I’ve never played online games. I cant really afford to pay for the xbox live membership anyways.
I’m also looking forward to grand theft auto 4.
