What have you done with the super jump after beating super mario 64?

Just like the question says, i mean yoshi gives you this super jump that makes you triple jump really high, then bounce on the ground, and i was wondering what anybody has used it for? Is there anything more to do? Can you do anything else? By the way, if you are unfamiliar, after you have all 120 stars, then you can get this jump, so this has to do with then. ok. Let me know.

It just seems useless really because it’s a bit late in the game.
The new jump to fall on very high places and wont get hurt.
